In designing the chalet our main aim was to ensure that it is comfortably fitted, warm and cosy. We hope that people will return from a day in the mountains and find that they are living in a really relaxing home.

The chalet has beautiful views from all the rooms of the Valley du Giffre and its mountains.

The bright living room has comfy setees, arm chair, fireplace, dining table & chairs, double doors opening on to balcony and veranda, where you can sit and enjoy the stunning views across the field to the mountains beyond, steps lead to the garden and heated swimming pool.

LOCATION

The chalet is located in the hamlet of L'Etelley, which is between the medieval village of Samoens and Morillon. The drive to the villages is only a couple of minutes. Each village has a telecabine to the Grand Massif ski area.

The village of Samoens has been awarded the Coq D'Or, an award for it being one of the most beautiful villages in France. Each wednesday there is a large market, which in the summer extends through the whole village.

The area has some 265kms of downhill skiing, suitable for all levels, extensive cross country skiing and snow boarding. Other winter activities included heli-skiing, parapenting, ice-skating and dog sleigh rides.

The summer months are as much fun as winter. Try your hand at white water rafting, paragliding, riding, mountain biking, tree adventure parks, walking, etc. Or you could just lie by the pool!

We are close to the lovely towns of Chamonix, Annecy, Megeve, Yvoire and of course less than an hour from Geneva airport.

FACILITIES

Although the chalet is self-catered there are local suppliers who can provide catering for you, anything from the odd evening meal to a fully catered service.

The services of a UK registered child minder is available from half a day to a full week and for babysitting.

We have arranged discounts for ski hire and ski lessons with local companies.

HOUSE RULES - Well behaved pets are allowed. Smoking is only allowed in the living room.
